Overview

The Microtronix Firefly Module is designed to work with Quartus II v6.0 and the Altera Nios II Development Kit v6.0 or the Altera Nios II Processor and Toolchain evaluation package.

The Microtronix Firefly download includes the following items:

• A series of reference designs that support the various versions of the Firefly module.
• The Microtronix Firefly SOPC components.
• The Microtronix Firefly documentation.

Installing and Removing the Release

This release has been wrapped with an installer application and therefore removal of the software should be done following the normal Windows procedure ("Add or Remove Programs" from the Control Panel or the Microtronix -> Firefly Module 1.3 -> Uninstall Microtronix Firefly Module shortcut under the Start menu).

The readme.txt file should open automatically after the installation process is complete.
