Microtronix Announces DX-2200 Product Manager Web - Raspberry Pi3 Application

LONDON, Ontario, Wednesday June 04, 2019 – Microtronix today announced the release of a Web UI Product Manager application for the DX-2200 Text & Graphics Inserter product. The software is a Web Server application the runs on Linux OS (Debian, RedHat or CentOS) on a PC or on a Raspberry Pi3 Debian platform connected to the DX-2200 unit via a USB – RS-232 Serial adapter.

The Web Server application enables users to use a web browser directly on the Raspberry Pi3, a local PC or WiFi connected tablet to configure, control, monitor and manage files on the DX-2200 product. It also enables the user to integrate control of the DX-2200 Text Inserter product into their embedded Linux application running on the Raspberry Pi3 unit.

The Web UI enables the user to:

• View and set the Mode of Operation,
• Enter, manage and edit text, graphic elements and image overlay fields,
• Configure operation of the SDI video path including video resolution, video conversion, frame delay, PiP window and digital zoom parameters,
• Assign Command Strings to DIP and Toggle Switches,
• Complete system maintenance functions: upload new firmware, graphic images and font files.
