Microtronix Announces DX-2200 SD/HD-SDI Text & Graphic Inserter with PIP on-screen display

LONDON, Ontario—Thursday December 3, 2015 - Microtronix® Datacom Ltd. today announced the release of the DX-2200 SD/HD-SDI Text & Graphic Inserter with PIP on-screen display. The product builds on the success of the current SD/HD-SDI Text & Graphics Inserter product and offers the following capabilities:

• Overlaying the ancillary SDI input channel as a PIP on the output SDI video stream.
• Live text and graphic/logo insertion on interlaced, progressive segmented frame and progressive video streams.
• Dual SDI outputs: overlay and loop-thru of the main SDI input.
• Up to 48 independent text fields and 48 graphic fields.
• Full alpha blending of overlay layers.
• Support of ancillary and VBI content including pass-through of the audio channels and embedded metadata from the primary SDI port.
• User control of text, graphic and PIP functions via a RS-232 serial port.
