Camera Link Receiver HSMC Daughter Card

The Microtronix Camera Link Receiver HSMC Daughter Card is designed for building base, medium and full Camera Link Frame Grabber (receiver) interfaces. The card provides Power over Camera Link (PoCL) circuitry which - with supporting Camera Link IP - will support PoCL functionality. The card interfaces to Altera FPGA based development boards using differential LVDS signals per a Type II or III HSMC connector interface. The card utilizes the integrated LVDS transceivers of Altera Cyclone, Arria and Stratix FPGA devices. The board operates in conjunction with the Camera Link Transceiver IP Core or our Camera Link Aligner IP Core.

Two Camera Link (CL) MDR26 connectors are provided which enables the card to support either one Base or one Medium Camera Link configuration. Two cards are required to support a full Camera Link interface.

Microtronix provides a 6-month OpenCore Plus Developer (evaluation) License for our Camera Link Transceiver IP Core or our Camera Link Aligner IP Core which enables you to generate .sof files to trial the core in-circuit on your target FPGA development platform.
