Compact Flash Preloaded with µClinux

If you've purchased an Altera FPGA development kit with a compact flash interface, and want to work with embedded Linux, we have a painless solution to get your development environment up and going. Simply load the Nios II µClinux-friendly evaluation core, complete with Compact Flash support, onto your Altera Nios Development Kit and plug in the Compact Flash card. You will be up and running with embedded µClinux, a full applications suite on the ext2fs file system, and the embedded µClinux Eclipse Plug-in for Nios II in about 15 minutes!

The 128MB compact flash storage card is preloaded with the µClinux 2.6 application suite and read/write ext2fs file system.

Supported Hardware Development Platforms

The compact flash card is compatible with the Microtronix Compact Flash Expansion Kit when installed on the Microtronix Firefly Development platforms.

The Compact Flash µClinux kit is compatible with the following: Altera Nios II Stratix, Cyclone, and Stratix Pro Development Kits.
