I²C Expansion Board

The I2C Expansion Board is designed for verification of I²C IP Cores. It provides three I²C devie preipherals, an I²C bus I/O expansion header and a hardware design prototyping area . It contains an Altera Santa Cruz expansion socket connector and is compatible with Altera and Microtronix FPGA development boards.

The I2C Expansion Board contains:

• Dallas DS1307Z I2C Real Time Clock
• Microchip 24LC01B 1Kb I2C EEPROM
• Philips PCA9554A bit I2C I/O Port with 4 LEDs and 4-position DIP Switch
• Hardware Prototyping Area
• Santa Cruz interface
