Microtronix and Fujisoft announce Asian Pacific (APAC) Distribution Agreement

LONDON, ON—Sept. 02, 2008 - Microtronix® Datacom Ltd. announced today that it has signed a formal distribution agreement with Fujisoft Incorporated Japan's largest and leading embedded technology distributor with 22 offices throughout the country. Fujisoft carries the complete line of Microtronix FPGA and IP Core products. The two companies are focusing on increasing the presence of highly integrated video imaging and intellectual property (IP) development solutions in Japan.

Fujisoft offers Microtronix access to an extensive dealer network and user base, which has tremendous growth potential," said Norman McCall, President, CEO of Microtronix. "This is a major step towards greater access to Microtronix products and realizing the growth targets we have set."

Microtronix provides designers with all of the building blocks they need to integrate Flat Panel Displays into their next product and to develop advanced HD video systems. The new ViClaro III Video IP Development Kit with its suite of HD Video Quartus Reference Designs leverages the design advantages of the Altera Avalon-ST video interconnect framework and the Microtronix Avalon Multi-port DDRr2 Memory Controller to greatly simplify the development of HD 1080i/1080p video systems reducing the engineering design cycle and development costs. The Kit is an ideal solution for building next-generation HD 1080p 100/120 Hz video systems used in a broad range of applications such as: video surveillance, broadcast, video conferencing, medical imaging and flat panel displays.
