Microtronix Announces DX-4400 Dual-channel 3G-SDI Text & Graphic Inserter/Overlay product

LONDON, Ontario, Thursday March 30, 2017 – Microtronix today announced the release of the DX-4400 – Dual-channel 3G-SDI Text & Graphic Inserter with PIP on-screen display (OSD) product which supports up to video resolutions from SD up Digital Cinema 4K. The product builds on the success of the current DX-2200 SD/HD-SDI Text & Graphics Insert product and offers the following SDI video capabilities:

• Dual-channel 3G-SDI a text/graphic overlay inserter with loop-thru output,
• Overlay of text & graphics onto two 3G‑SDI video streams.
• Live text and logo/graphic inserter/overlay on; interlaced, progressive segmented frame (PsF) and progressive SDI video streams,
• Text scrolling and crawling of news feeds,
• Dynamic graphic overlays,
• Full alpha blending of overlay layers.
• Support of ancillary and VBI content including pass-through of the audio channels and embedded metadata,
• User control of text/graphic inserter/overlay OSD and PIP functions via a RS-232 serial port or TCP/Ethernet.
