LONDON, Ontario—November 1, 2006, Microtronix® Datacom Ltd. today unveiled their latest low cost IP solution for Telco's looking to economically update their legacy X.25 Call Billing Record collection systems. The Microtronix AMA Collection System is targeted at Telco's currently using obsolete X.25 cards and dial-up modems to collect billing records from remote switches.

Microtronix's latest offering is a simple to install, complete solution comprising of both hardware and software. This complete Switch to Billing solution includes: Web based management software and the Microtronix AMA record collection suite, pre-installed on a rack mountable server and a Microtronix BX.25 – TCP/IP gateway.
The AMA Collection System is compatible with 5ESS, EWSD, DMS and other families of telephone switches and is easily scalable to add any number of Network Elements.
