Microtronix Issues DX-2200 Dual-view 2x1 SDI Switcher – Firmware Upgrade v3.5

LONDON, Ontario, Wednesday February 11, 2015 — Microtronix today is pleased to announce the release of a firmware upgrade (version 3.5) for the DX-2200, Dual-view 2x1 SDI Video Switcher product. The upgrade adds the following product feature enhancements:

• Support for overlaying of graphics images (logos, pictures, etc) onto the output SDI video.
• Increased the number of text fields (from 12 to 48) used to display text strings on the Overlay Layer.
• Addition of new Layer Commands used to control the Overlay Layer.
• Addition of new line/rectangle drawing commands for the Overlay Layer.

In support of these capabilities, we have also upgraded the DX-2200 Software Loader Application used to field upgrade product firmware and facilitate loading of graphic images into flash.
